Your Guides To Renting Here In Reno
At Common Thread, we believe finding a place to live should feel supportive, informed, and connected to the community around you. We are a free Reno-based apartment locating and a housing resource team dedicated to helping renters navigate the housing market with clarity, care, and real local insight.

More Than Apartment Locators
Common Thread was built on the belief that housing is more than just finding an apartment—it’s about creating stability, opportunity, and connection. Our team works closely with local communities, property managers, and housing resources to help renters feel supported throughout their search.
We understand that every renter’s situation is different, which is why we focus on personalized guidance instead of one-size-fits-all solutions.
Our Mission
At Common Thread, our mission is to guide individuals through Reno’s rental market with clarity, care, and connection. We believe housing is the foundation of a strong community, and everyone deserves access to it.
Our work is grounded in the belief that we are all threads woven into the fabric of our community.
